The Ottawa Black Business Alliance (OBBA) took part in a high-level meeting hosted by the Tunisia Africa Business Council (TABC), chaired by Mr. Anis Jaziri. The event, held at the Council’s headquarters, brought together a Canadian delegation exploring new opportunities for economic cooperation with Tunisia and the African continent.
The delegation included key organizations such as the Fédération des gens d’affaires francophones de l’Ontario (FGFO), Azzouzi Law, Reality Brokerage, and Groupe 3737. Representing OBBA, President Mr. Luc Thermonvil emphasized the importance of positioning Canada as a strategic partner in pan-African economic development.
Discussions highlighted TABC’s flagship projects, including the preparation of the FITA 2026 Forum, where a Canadian high-level delegation will participate. OBBA also advocated for a Canada–Tunisia–Africa economic triangle, a collaborative model designed to strengthen synergies across the three regions, particularly in energy, infrastructure, environment, and industry.
“Our presence here demonstrates that inclusive innovation and entrepreneurial diversity are powerful engines for shared prosperity. OBBA is ready to contribute by mobilizing its network of entrepreneurs and investors,” said Mr. Thermonvil.
