As part of the BIG Tech Africa 2025 program, the Ottawa Black Business Alliance (OBBA) participated in an institutional visit to the headquarters of the Tunis Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIT).
The Canadian delegation, including OBBA, met with CCIT leaders to explore opportunities for strategic cooperation in priority sectors such as energy transition, technological development, circular economy, and international trade.
During the exchange, OBBA highlighted its mission of supporting entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds in Canada and reaffirmed its goal of helping them gain structured access to fast-growing African markets.
“The Tunis Chamber of Commerce is a key partner for building strong business bridges. We want our entrepreneurs—especially Black, francophone, and immigrant entrepreneurs—to benefit from structured and long-term access to these opportunities,” stated Mr. Thermonvil.
This visit reinforced OBBA’s commitment to positioning Ottawa and Canada as vital players in international economic cooperation.
